Ten weeks @ Hamburg

No blogging for quite a long time, as I was quite busy with work.... so, finally decided to post one, to share this chunk of my 10 week life in Hamburg...

The first four weeks went really good, as couple of my colleagues were also with me.... we used to roam together in the weekends, and never felt bored at all... But after that, I was lonely most of the time... So, soon decided to buy a vodafone USB stick to connect net in my apartment... And I had to pay 50 Euro for this one month connection which included only 3 GB free usage.... And one weekend, that I went out with my manager, was really good, but after that, for the past two weekends and also this weekend, spending the time just vetti and lonely...

The weather is really good, as they call it still summer here.. Mostly sunny at 15 to 20 degrees, but sometimes it does go down to 12 in day time... Seen many wet days also... Still 20 days to go, and am sure, its only gonna get worse with the start of October....

As a sigh of relief, a colleague is coming from India by next week, so that I can have some company towards the end... Also planning to tour Hamburg with her... Had spent most of the time reading reviews of smart phones, which am planning to buy one...

Hope the remaining 20 days will go in a jiffy, and will be back to Bangalore, and ofcourse planning to eat well to make up for my body weight that seems a bit lost here... Not really finding the food at canteen interesting... Some Indian restaurants are there to help, however the outside restaurants cost really high, and if I make a currency conversion, it seems no value for money... But however, considering the situation and also the taste (compared to the bread), it is good :) And as I am not good at Hindi, finding it difficult to speak with those Punjabi's as well....

Not reading any news at all.... Living a life of my own, with the new Philips Living colors LED light, that adds a any color of my choice at least to my room, if not to my life... I am also lucky that I escaped from the new travel policy in the company, which forces the employees on travel to show 50% bills, else return the unused per diem back to the company... My colleague travelling next week is already highly upset by this new policy, and ofcourse jealous on me :)

Had plans to visit Paris, which I had to drop later, as I felt traveling alone wont be of fun... Also I am quite lazy and bored to travel alone.... But no guarantee that I may get a chance like this later, and with some 200 to 300 Euro, easily I can roam in paris for couple of days, and as I dropped the plan coz I had no company, I definitely feel like I missed a nice opportunity...

I wish I come back to India soon, to taste some good chicken :)

Sab in Hamburg, Germany !!

OooHa!! Now blogging from Hamburg... Well!! Let me start from the beginning.... One fine morning (sometime in June second week) during a stand up meeting, my manager said I am the next candidate to travel.... I travelled to Tirupati on June 17 and of course prayed to Lord Venkat that everything should go fine.... My travel dates to Hamburg were confirmed on July 17. This time they told that the duration of stay in Hamburg will be 90 days unlike in the case of Manod (my team mate), where he first went to Hamburg on April 27th for a month, then extended another month and then extended yet another month finally making it 90 days (maximum allowed short term travel for an employee in a year)... So I will be staying here till October 14 and will be back to India on Oct 15...

I joined the joining party by the juniors on July 16 th night, and it was heavily raining outside.... It was a very good dinner, and I reached home late at 11 PM, and my mom was firing me for coming late.... I had booked a taxi at 12 AM, who tensed me that night by not atttending the call between 12 to 12 30 AM... Many thanks to Sindhu, who gave me the 24 hr help line number of that travels and also for getting me the power adaptor to use my laptop here... However the driver attended the call by 12 45 and came fast to my place to leave me at airport at around 1 30 AM... My parents were accompanying me.....

Two more guys from my company travelled with me (Mano and Sumit)... These guyz have however come for 1 month, and would be leaving early but it is really a good time to roam around in a group during weekends and also we together go to the office.... I really dunno how I ll spend my last two months, because I will be mostly alone, which is not good :(

Manod came to pick me up in the airport. Because it is summer here, the climate is quite good... Although its sunny outside, I still feel cold in my hand and foot.... Here sun rises by 5:00 AM and sets by 10:00 PM... Ppl like sun here so much, because they don't see much traces of it during winter... Last Jan, it snowed here :) I am really worried about my last month of stay, because winter would start by that time....

I had ramp up and down by Manod last week, although I don't think I got to know much.. I am sure I ll be talkin to this guy over office communicator bugging him left and right for so many doubts, which I am sure to get.... I am here for doing system integration of X-Ray modalities :) And I see lot of real hardware here... Except for the third floor in the office, it is mostly like a hardware supply chain industry... Of course they manufacture X-ray machines here....

Here ppl don't stay for a long time in office.. They come by 9 AM and leave before 6 PM.... Even I am going do the same here.... This is my first overseas travel... I travelled via Dubai in Emirates.... Emirates allows to carry 30 Kg luggage in check - in bag which is actually good for me as I am carrying more coz of 3 months stay in contrast to Air France via Paris, which allows only 20 Kg....

This 90 days will be my longer stay away from home and family... But it is good to travel considering my career and getting a good name at client side is what I am looking forward.... Despite my bitter start in Philips last year, I have grown to be a potential resource in this team ever since I joined the GXR team (General X-ray) in last August, which is now renamed to DXR (Diagnostic X-ray).... Chitra (X-ray Program manager in blr) said that my ass ll be on fire, and now I feel its really time to feel the heat...

After Quite a Looong Break..

Well!!! I know, I have taken quite a loong break not blogging, the reasons being attributed to these...
- I was having no time to blog, which is not really true... Of course I had a hectic kinda work in office yet had plenty of vetti time :)
- I was actually keeping myself away from blogging because of the fear that I may bring into light certain matters that would be rather good to keep them burried and also forget over time...
- And I was also undergoing a transition that my so called love is no longer worth to be called so... Of course not interested to dig into the details.....
- And finally its good to spend time with new frnds, new ppl....

Wayanad Trip

The background behind arrangement of the trip was tat, few of our German colleagues had planned to visit PIC Bangalore last week around april 20th, and we planned for a team outing along with our German colleagues on Apr 23, 24, 25... But due to the volcano eruption problem, flights were canceled, and they have not come here till now... But we decided to proceed and go ahead with the trip...

One good news was tat Manod who had to go to Hamburg Apr 17th, couldn't go due to the same problem, and he decided to come along with us for the trip... Manod was our local guide there, as he had frequented the place many times...

Actually we had no mood to work as we got the trip mood right from Thursday (apr 22nd)... We had planned to leave from office by 2 PM on friday (apr 23rd)... Some of my colleagues came with their family.... I was also allowed to take my frnds... Among the several I invited, Vasanth readily agreed to come with me.... We had already enjoyed a similar trekking in VaalParai more than a year ago.... :)

As Vasanth is well known for coming late, I was waiting for him anxiously... He had to leave early from his office and he reached b4 2PM.... It was around 26 ppl who boarded the bus, which included two couples and a kid... Lenu (my team mate) had a kid who was just one year old... And he decided to come with his family in his car... But this guy made a comedy reaching Gudalur(TN) and had to travel some extra time to reach Wayanad almost the same time we reached, who otherwise would have reached the hotel much b4 than we did...

The Bus driver made big effort to turn the bus into the narrow road which seemed almost impossible, but he finally succeeded in taking the turn tat too in reverse direction and reached the hotel.... :) We had dinner and slept after a tiring journey of more than 6 hours.... Many ppl danced in the bus, but mostly hindi songs were being played and rarely one or two tamil songs.... Yogesh was ultimate in dancing partnered by Vj...

The next day we covered Meenmutty waterfalls which included a trekking of 4 KM in the morning, and Pookot lake in the evening ....

The next day we covered kuruva islands and reached blr at around 11 PM... The interesting part during the return was the IPL finals, where everyone asked me for match updates.... Equal supports for CSK and MI... However, I reached home b4 it was too late to watch the MI crumbling in the last 5 overs, although Pollard created a ray of hope... But finally CsK won.... The trip was awesome, and wat a way to finish the weekend watching the final overs of the Big IPL 3 finals...... :)

Happiness Doubled :)

When people say good and bad times alternate in ones life, which is also experienced me, now I feel its time for tide :) Had a happy weekend at home.... Spent a evening at Rama's home, where myself, sath and js gathered... We played carom for a loong time, during which time my naive trials were most comical :)

But the ATM comedy frustrated me a little... ATM machine didn't dispense cash when I tried to drop 10K due to some system error... I din't get the transaction slip also... One full day I tried to log a complaint in the bank, but due to some server prob, page was not at all loading... Somehow yesterday I logged a complaint with the help of mvr...

Also arranged a get together of primary school frnds... We (myself and nandu) planned for such a get together during my last visit to cbe in mid of march, but as many others were not available, it got postponed... We had lunch at Rayappas... Altogether it was one good four hours spent with my old primary schl frnds gang....

Then the return journey was along with my anni, which was a pleasant journey as usual... And while boardin the train met lv's dad face to face.... We both stared at each other.... The gal looked good and confident.... Felt happy.... But we din't share a word.... This is the third time we meet in train in same compartment, and for God's sake no tragedy happened this time...

To double the happiness, I was given increment in company of about 16% (though the number is not intentional).... And to top it all, I just got a msg tat 10K got credited back to my acc... Overall feeling happy at this moment.... :)

Last two weeks of March....

There could be no words to describe the kind of personal tension and worries I had been encountering for the past couple of weeks.... And it almost attained a peak yesterday, with my love having a talk to me finally which would make march 30th a memorable day :) I feel, I am also one of the worst affected persons in the drama of life....

Certain things in life are always good when left unsaid, and not talked about... But yo really need courage to talk to the direct stakeholders of the crime... And I did have it.... And the results were much positive, quite predictable and my optimistic approach towards it was commended....

For frnds who really wonder what I am talking about, I would like to say that I am posting my state of mind over the past two weeks, which literally took me to view life at a varied perspective.... But what I saw, what I did is actually left untold... Although closest of my frnds can relate it well.....

I always wished to talk from my heart, and deal difficult situations with a smile on face... But now to move on with life, I wish I forget all the unpleasant memories and carry only fruitful ones.....

And with CSK continuously loosing the matches, I felt very bad.... But they have also ended up in a victory finally...... I feel much better and as CSK come back after four losses, I am also back to normal life with good memories, and reassuring relationships blooming again.... Let it all happen for good, and let me not hurt anyone anymore....

Mangalore Trip

I had yet another wonderful weekend, this time being spent at Mangalore :) Although the distance between bangalore and mangalore is only around 500 KM, it takes 12 hours in train coz most of the journey is in hilly terrain... Also the train halted at several places... However, it reached on time at Mangalore central at 8 45 AM on 13th Feb.... Although my parents have gone to Mangalore several times, this was the first time for me... The purpose of the trip was actually to meet my sis and have fun over there...

Only after reaching there, we came to know that it was a city bandth over there and no town buses will be available.... Shops were mostly closed, and city looked dull...... My sis is stayin in Beeri (10 KM from Mangalore)... At the bus stop, a old man shocked us sayin tat he was waitin for bus for more than an hour.... Then only we came to know that some KSRTC buses to cities like udupi, puttur, shimoga etc were all running normally... This place Beeri is on the way to Kasaragod(40KM from Mangalore).... When I was actually planning to take an auto, a bus to Kasaragod came to pick up us... The view of Netravathi river on the was awesome :)

It was again 1 KM walk from NH 17 to her college... The main branch of Aloysius college is at a walkable distance from rly station.... This one at Beeri is actually a branch newly constructed... My sis was happy to see us after a loong time.... We spent around half a day in her college just roaming around....

Then we planned to go to Summer sands beech... But as buses were not available and some people also advised us not to roam on that day, we decided to return to the hotel... The next day we went to Panambur beech... We had to walk some 2 KM to reach the beech... I was actually astonished to see Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Factory and UltraTech Cement Factory and quite a lot of timber and lorries at the port, which we had to cross before entering the beech.... The path was full of dust and the color of the sand was irritating until we saw some cool sea sand....

I spent around two hours bathing in the sea... Becoz it was Feb 14th, many people had come to the beech and also someone had arranged events for kids and some good songs were being played all the time.... It was very much enjoyable bathing in the sea after a very long time.....

We departed from Mangalore at 7 45 PM.... The return journey was good in some aspects whereas bad in some others... One good aspect being there was a good lookin gal in my coupe... However most of the compartment was full with 8th, 9th std gals and boys who were all muslims... They were makin noise all the time and I couldn't sleep till 12... Train reached blr by 7 15 AM, and we rushed to the city bus stand to catch the bus to our place... Luckily a bus to our place 287L came as soon as we reached the bus stand :) Over all the trip was good, as the mangalore bandth by Ram sena didn't have much impact :) ;)

Jumping From the Train....

One of the most tragic event happened in my life on 23rd morning... I was on my way to cbe in Coimbatore express... I had left for the bangalore city railway station directly from my office on 22nd night... I was playing TT in the evening, then had curd rice and left the office around 8 50 PM... It was senthil who dropped me hebbal bus stop... When I was about to get down from the bike, an idiot in a scooter, who was driving forward looking at his back, almost missed to hit my bum by few inches...

I reached railway station around 9 30 PM... Was waiting in platform 3 as usual and train came by 10 30 as it was expected to be half an hour late.... I was speakin on phone to Sinduja, who called me when I was boarding the train.... I was actually telling her tat there were no figures in the train... :( When I found my seat, and still talkin to her, a familiar face crossed me, which was none other than lv... She also saw me... Her seat was in the next coupe... She would have cursed me so badly for having met me on this occasion that might have eventually led to my fall the next day morning.......

I really had a very disturbed sleep not just because I met lv on tat nite, but another idiot in the adjacent coupe (lv's coupe) was shouting like hell while he was sleeping... Everyone around me got up and scolded him for disturbing others... He was not snoring, but he was shouting strangely... I got up around 5 15 AM and had a tea... Despite train being late at bangalore, it reached cbe by 6 AM and myself like a hero tried to jump out of the train while it was still in motion.... At last I ended up risking my very life... There were chances tat I could have fell into the track, however, I managed to put both my legs inside the train, while I was being dragged by the train for a few metres... It was like experiencing Final Destination movie (I watched Final Destination 3 and 4 last week)... And as I cried for help, a chai wala gave his hand and pulled me inside the train... At one point the backpack was pulling me into the track... But tat guy was smart enuf to pull me and also my back pack and I saw God in him while he was rescuing me....

In this tragic event, I lost my slippers, jerkin and T-shirt torn at the back, tore my backpack and hurt my back as well....... :( It took me around a day to restore to normal, and now feeling much better after suffering from severe muscle pain all over the body for past two days... The three words from Actor Sivakumar 'Ithuvum Kadanthu Pogum' when he was speaking in Vijay TV on republic day, gave me enuf spirits to board the train for return journey yesterday..............

This Pongal @ Frnds house....

This is the first blog am writing this year... Well, I wanted to write one immediately after the vacation on jan 4th, but then, I spent lot of my time in playing TT and time just had just flown away tat I don't remember exactly what all I did in those 10 day long vacation... So finally decided to post one about this POngal.......

First of all, thanks that I din't get ticket for 17th nite return from home, otherwise I would have gone to cbe.... So I canceled the ticket I had for 13th ongoing journey... I already had plans of spending the previous weekend too in their home.. But Jan 9th we had a treat by my colleagues Senthil and Arun @ Village... However, I went to meet sath and others on jan 10.... After tasting one of the worst biriyani in Village, I thought I shd have biriyani in some good chettinaad hotel.. And it was good tat we went to lunch in Annachi - chettinad spl restaurant in 100 ft road, where we tasted Naatukozhi biriyani and someother dry items... Then, I left promising them, tat I'd be comin again on 13th nite itself.....

And I reached their home around 10 30 PM, and then on started the fun... As koli was away to his native place, I used his bed :) And AD guys had no holiday for pongal... Also Mu Sigma guys had holiday on 15th.. So it was only me and rabbit in home on 14th... I ate breakfast in Pongal mess (It was a long time desire for me eat pongal on Pongal day).. But it never happened... I went so late, tat they had only dosa... Then lunch we went to Nandhini Palace and had Pongal spl meals... It was one good veg lunch I had in times :) It featured Unlimited meals :) ;) Rabbit ate so much, tat he didn't have his dinner and next day breakfast as well :)

However sath and venki accompanied me to Pongal mess again, and we had a Pista milk shake tat was really good in the Juice junction :) The next day I had to go to office... The traffic was much less than expected due to eclipse.. And the fun part was many people din't come to office and many didn't have lunch due to eclipse... But it was for good tat cafe was less crowded in lunch... But at 4 PM the snacks served at cafe(not free of course) was over in no time... All hungry giants attacked the cafe in evening and it crowd was way over the capacity...

It was a good experience for me preparing dosa in their home.... Everyone laughed at my way of turning the dosa :) The non stick tawa helped a lot :) The next day saagar prepared pongal, which was really really a good one.... Then myself, rabbit, sath went to mu sigma - vineeth's office (ofcourse with vineeth) with lot of expectation to play TT, but ended up getting a bun... Interview was goin on in their office and ppl were waiting in tat room were TT court was there... We had Arabian grape juice in his cafe, which was really a good one :)

Evening all six of us went to Forum Value mall in whitefield(first time for me and few others)... We watched Aayirathil Oruvan there... And to describe about this movie, I would copy the status msg of Venki [Aayirathil Oruvan = Great Adventure(from Indiana Jones) + Good Fantasy + Extream Violence (from 300)+ 12th Centuries Tamil + Nudity + Vulgar Words + Unnecessary Andrea - Some Logic]... I bought some T-shirt in MegaMart inside tat mall, which really had attractive prices... Then dinner at KFC deserves a spl mention, as it was the first time tat I ate there.... Chicken @ KFC was really good and liked it very much... Felt I missed it so long.....

The next day we decided to go to EMC^2, the decision came as soon as we got messed up in Mu sigma... The same four of us went to rabbit's office (EMC^2), only to play TT... Our desire to play snooker din't happen, as one them din't have the stick and other was occupied... However his office was damn good but still many areas under construction......

Overall, past couple of weekends + the annual shutdown were all totally enjoyable and I really respect the hospitality shown in my frnds home and ofcourse the 1Mbps net connection kept the wireless router busy all the time :) Watched Harry Potter first two parts along with Sath... I had a feeling tat it was some children stuff, but as I started watchin 'em, it kept me on and I really enjoyed it... Hoping to watch the rest soon..... I stop here, as its already late around 8 30 PM here at office and also the post has quite exceeded the readability :)

It feels great that I ll be leaving to my home town tonite... :) Of course,am going after more than two months.... Lot of plans ahead.... Mainly to visit most of the frnds houses.... And also waiting for the YAM at coll :) Just played TT for most of the time today.... More than half the company has already left.... And there had been vacation mood rite from monday............

The full hd display had been a feast to my eyes from last saturday, tat am not at all usin my lap's display.... Gonna connect DTH to it by next month... For more details chk out the LG website for M227WA model :)

Also planning to watch Vettaikaran and Avatar this week.... Dunno whether I'll be able to meet all my frnds this weekend as most of them don't have annual shutdown... However, 10 days is a long time to enjoy... Will be posting more on it after I come back on Jan 4th :) I met Pravin b4 two weeks at marathalli... And upon roamin with this guy, I happened to meet few other frnds unexpectedly... Tat list included firstly Deepa(in marathalli bus stop), then my school frnds Anmol and Ranjit Matthew in brand factory, and finally vigneshwari when I was about to take my bike from parking area :) Just b4 tat week (first week of december) only I met lot of my coll frnds - a big list Ragu, sundu, sriram, baski - all four from Hyd, and our blr guys.... We went to karting tat day and then to garuda mall ( had a really good time there).... Ofcourse every week we'll be in vacation mood, but this is really different... Its one long leave in the entire year... I feel highly happy energetic and enthusiastic now.... This is really wat ppl call as vacation mood :) ;)

2009 was overall good tat I've started a career in my life... Finding my company pretty good now... Also few new joinees this month are giving me good company.. And also guys n gals from my coll and those joined along with us in june are doing pretty well and we have fun most of the time in cafe and break out areas.... Ppl are very friendly and am enjoyin every moment of it.... My team is one waste team tat none gives parties..... Of course only party given was by myself and yogesh as a joining party... (kanja payaluga) :( I wish I were in ultrasound team....

Am sad tat my frnd Yogesh is moving to other team from jan... :( He had been really a very very helping guy... Also having lot of debts to settle him.... This guy is goin for Temple Visit this holidays (Murugan Temples).... And ofcourse many ppl have their own vacation plans....

Wishing everyone "Merry Christmas And Happy New Year"

Played Cricket on Company Terrace :)

Hi... I was playing cricket after many years.... Tat too this time with my own team mates and some others from other teams as well.... I was supposedly the worst player in the team, however I managed to bowl and field well... It was extremely packed with fun, as we were playin in the company terrace :)

We defined our own set of rules for runs and also included one pitch catch and no sixes as ball would go out of the terrace.... One pitch catch let me down on two occasions... We played three matches, and my team won it all :) Wow !!

I took some 5 wickets in 3 matches, and took a good catch too (not the one pitch catch wala), the result of which I got a mail complimenting ma fielding skills :) Wat a comedy -- If some of ma class mates read this blog, esp Rama, Kv, or mouli, I ll be probably dead by this time :) ;)

Playing TT almost Daily .!!

Nowadays I am spending some 2hrs almost daily for playing TT.... Two others who would be joining me are Senthil and Si(Ma)nduja.... Senthil is completely new to TT although his learning of the game is good and fast.... Sinduja who claims herself to be a district player from some mokka district in TN, plays quite well and competes with me well... I lose to her most of the times, although till date I maintain the credit of defeating daily her atleast once.... But she puts over scene, and my aim is tat I shd train senthil so well tat he defeats her one day :)

Most important driving factor behind me playing is to reduce my so called Belly, which is protruding out in odd fashion, due to which I lose glamor... Other reasons are ofcourse fun and recreation... There has been considerable improvement on playing for past four to five days, tat my belly gone in by atleast half an inch, and I have lost weight by atleast 1Kg...

But am worried, if I can continue playing like this daily, because now I have somewhat less work to do and am ahead of my schedule.... Future will be likely demanding more from me in the sense, I may not have sufficient time for recreation... One of the challenging tasks for me will be to allocate time for these such recreation amidst work load.... However, TT has become my favorite game although I had played very little of this game in school and coll.... I believe that after few months, my mastering over the game will be terrible, as I can already see a lot of improvement over this week alone :)

Having Some Fun Finally !!

I was not in a good mood to write a blog for quite a long time... But now things have become very clear or atleast changed for good... This month, I thought will be like anyother month that I had gone through after joining Phlips - coming to office daily and doing some work, which had of late become a daily routine... But to my surprise, on Nov 3rd I got a mail from Cisco, that they invited me for a selection process...

I did not have much time to brush up my basics, as selection process was scheduled on Nov 7th... But still I made some preparations as it was one of my dream companies... I was surprised to see some 350+ crowd that has come from various parts of the country... Actually 547 had been invited like me :) I took up the written test, and myself and Vasanth had a good dealings that really worked out, that we both cleared the written... And to my surprise, Vasanth's name was called out first and my name was called out the last..., And in the meanwhile as tension peaked, I started looking door side to leave the hall, but luckily my name was read out lastly.....

This gave me enuf confidence, that I ll get through... Did the interviews well to my satisfaction, and left Cisco, with hope I ll be selected.... But after a week, it was quite a big shock to know tat I wasn't selected... I came to know this wen Vasanth told me on Nov 16th that he has got thro... Of course I was happy for him, but still I really have no Idea on this....

But when I was down for couple of days, then came a good news tat Philips gonna make me permanent by Dec 01... Ofcourse I felt happy this time... This really shows tat life like a sine wave has ups and downs, and most important of all is that let ur hopes be held high and also ur spirits... Today I feel much better, and as I am writin this blog, am getting another mail from Cisco - this time they have sent me an invitation to attend the selection process for customer associate... But I don't think I ll be taking up this time.... Because I am made permanent here, and also I always wanted to be a developer and not a customer support engineer... Even testing is kinda boring to me.... Now I feel happy to be a .NET Developer.... And the road map of my team is pretty cool, with more development activities coming in....

I think the recession that had hit the world has receded and most companies are recruiting freshers.... More jobs open in my company too... They r goin for campus recruitment to my college on Dec 04...

And to add more to the blog, this month had a dip and a peak in my life.... Now its kinda sustaining itself somewhere in a better position.... And to add even more, I played TT today for 3 hrs..... So its clear tat am having some fun finally..... !!!

Enjoyable Weekend :)

Although the start of the weekend ie., last Friday nite was quite disappointing for me as well as saturday morning (reason goes unspecified..), it then turned out to be an enjoyable one all of a sudden due to high energy tat I got on meetin ma frnds @Kodihalli/Indiranagar... Met Vineeth, Saagar, Venki, Rabbit, Koli, Jacob and Vasanth... Also guyz had 1Mbps airtel connection with wireless router, and I was chatting and browsing all the time :)

The Orange Pop I tasted in Beijing Bites on sat eve was good although I felt it is quite highly priced... However, The lunch at Continental Spice on sunday was quite a tragedy I had to face... Met Vasanth and Jacob only on Sunday eve... And Vasanth made good bargain at one of the bed shop :) I also visited their room... I returned to ma home sunday nite with Eeram movie tat I dloaded... It was an absolute Thriller and I watched it Sunday nite... that ended the weekend in a bang :)

Expecting next weekend to be packed with even more high energy as its gonna be Diwali celebrated at ma home :)

Happiness Redefined...

Hi all,

Now blogging from my friends' home.. 6 of ma frnds r stayin here - Sath, Koli, Venki, Vineeth, Saagar, Rabbit... And Rite now Koli is near me browsin Facebook... So now let me go into what I intend to write...

I had this conviction that having more number of friends will make me happy... for if one frnd doesn't care, we do have another to pass time... But of late I feel that having too many is difficult to maintain as well... And its natural tat frndship with gals had made me feel happy... But again of late I realize tat frndship with gals can't last long for they get married soon and they naturally move away from u... Simply to argue, it may be said tat frndship'll never cease to exist... But the frndly and natural behaviour tat we had with gals in college time cannot be extended after tat... Still the culture in India and parent's mentality has not changed... It is often uncommon to go to a gal's house and chat for a long time and if tat happens, ppl start believing tat they r in love...

Actually It often becomes difficult to mark the boundary of love and friendship... In a friendship with a gal, love exists... But as a matter of fact, u can't love or propose ur frnd... If U do so, most probably the frndship breaks - which becomes virtually impossible to make up... And if it succeeds, U remain happy...

The best way to remain happy is tat U don't propose ur frnd... :) The concept of making frndship with a gal, and then proposing her fails on most occasions... Sometimes U can't do it for fearing the frndship ll break... And under this circumstance U really got to be very careful... It often becomes a Make Or Break trial :) And the worst insult U'll ever face is when U want to make a broken frndship... (I mean the frndship which is broken upon proposing)...

So let me put it simply tat U carry an attitude with u - Never respect or try to think of the person who was ur frnd, and eventually U loved... Be determined to pick up someone else... One more way to escape this is U don't really befriend any gal to tat extent tat U want to care her specially... Happiness - I relate it with frnds becoz wen a spl frnd neglects u, U feel depressed... In tat way I have experiences and heard from others too.... So one way U can be happy is to make sure tat U don't expect much from ur frnds and then cry tat they didn't meet up to ur expectations...

Most films have set a trend tat only guyz shd run back of gals and after too much of a try, she ll finally accept the love.. But as a matter of fact, gals never express their love in the first place and they don't disclose their crush too... It shows they r not brave enuf and all tat they want is to lead a settled life tat their parents ll arrange them... So To be happy, U simply have to make urself happy by lessening ur expectations - Of course U can't restrict anything, still as a sine wave I find myself happy on some occasions and heavily depressed at other times... And often the cause of depression is some spl frnd not meeting up my expectations... And my q is tat Y is a gal becomin such a spl frnd?? Its better U attach less importance to such people tat ll keep u everlastingly happy......

WIN HEARTS !!

This post is in memory of last years event 'WIN HEARTS' tat was conducted in my college on oct 9, 2008.... It was such an awesome evening... Wat made this day more memorable is this - 'I was actually facing a problem with my mobile for nearly ten days... I could read a message sent, but I could not reply back... Effectively I can type the reply but upon pressing the send button, my phone used to hang, and I was literally fukin with ma phone... And this was the day I overcome the problem by installing OS in my mobile... My frnd Vasanth who is an effective hacker wellknown for his fraudulent skills, had downloaded some software for this... Also in december 2007, he had taken a backup of my phone wen I had been to his home.... And on this day, he really restored my phone back to the state it was in dec 2007...'

Now let me confess how this event of restoring the phone, the event WinHearts, the spl day Oct 9 are connected tat took me for a surprise... 'I had deleted all the msgs in my phone tat was sent by her owing to the quarrel and probs created in april 2008... But as I restored ma phone to the state it was in Dec 2007, I got all those msgs back in my inbox, which counted over 200 in her name :) - As a matter of fact, I still have some of them in my inbox !! And as a coincidence, it was her B'day :)'

And then, myself, vasanth, Deepa, and Sara enjoyed watching the show 'Win Hearts'... However I had a sad inner feeling, that I was unable to win her heart... But watever happens, tomo is her b'day again, And I am not sure how I ll be surprised this time... Certain coincidences make us feel happy... Although we know certain things are not gonna happen, a few incidents throw a ray of hope in mind, tat helps in dreaming better... But the fact is tat certain memories bring light into life tat stand vividly enamored forever:)

Worst Travel Experience :(

Last Monday Night I had to return to blr after enjoying the pooja holidays at home... I had booked a ticket in Asian Travels via TicketGoose.com... The start time was 9:45 PM... I went to their office at Gandhipuram by 9 30 PM... After lookin at my ticket, they said that the trip was canceled but however its ticketgoose problem that they allowed booking in it... Then I contacted Ticketgoose personnel... He said that the trip was canceled and they had tried to contact me for past 10 days, and my phone was switched off all the time... I felt tat its stupid to argue with them... Also I had only given them my blr number, which of course I was not using wen I was at home...

Then I made up my mind to travel anyways.. All the buses to blr were full... So I just jumped into a govt bus to Salem... Some useless movie was going on in tat bus, and it disturbed my sleep to a great extent.. As a matter of fact I had lot of disturbances - A baby in the near by seat was crying all the time, and no sufficient leg room, and after the movie was over, they were playin some age old songs in high volume, which was literally screwing my ears :(

I reached Salem by 1 45 AM and to my surprise, the bus stand was highly crowded and as and when the bus arrives, it gets filled in the sense that I had to hurry in jumping into the bus to get a seat... I tried in two buses in vain, and succeeded in the next attempt but managed to get a seat only in last row... Thoranai movie was played in this bus, but I had no mood to watch as I was very sleepy... Seated in the last row, I was bouncing all the time, and the chill air from the back door was highly an irritating one :(

I reached Hosur by 5 45 AM and immediately got into a bus to blr... Reached Silk board by 6 40 AM... Then I waited sometime in outer ring road to reach my place - Hebbal.. It took another one hour for me to reach home at 7 45 AM.... And because of this awful travel experience, I was sleepy for the entire day but managed to stay quite awake in office.... As I left office by 6 30, I started sleepin by 7 and got up by 7 today as I got a call from my home :)

Moral Science !!

Well, I was thinking for a long time as to what should I post next.... Suddenly I went back to my school days when I was studying standard nine... That was of course our adolescent age too :) And to add fuel to the fire, our Moral Science book had two interesting chapters - 'Sex and Marriage' and 'Boys and Girls'......

The first chapter discussed about the reasons for a marriage... Although I felt that it was too early to have a lesson on marriage, I can relate most of it now and also I feel I can relate much more based on other practical sources... There are many people for whom the ultimate aim is to lead a settled life... Even I was influenced by such feelings when I started my college life... But of late, the things have changed... I realize that I am younger than many of my colleagues who are themselves not married... It literally means, I have nearly five more years to concentrate on my career and try to enjoy the bachelor life as much as possible :)

The second chapter was indeed fun, and me studying in a boyz school, then realized the need for a co-education :) It discussed in detail about the frndship between a boy and a gal and how the same may turn into a love or some 'matter', and what will be the cause and result of all this - Don't say a baby ll be the result!! Those were really the days we attained maturity, and these lessons really shaped us, if not atleast it brought out some interesting topics for discussion in the class.... These lessons were taken by one our lady staffs, and I could realize tat it would've been very much embarrassing for her :) The point that I would like to add is that I missed many things as I studied in a boyz school, but at the same time, we had a lot of freedom in discussing things... Nevertheless, those void spaces were filled in college :)

Also, my essay on adolescence was greatly appreciated in one of the moral science tests... And now being an adult am proud tat I ve overcome those period with caution and now its really time to engage in some fresh professional activities and of course foresee and dream about future :)

Two Impressive Looong Msgs...

It will be quite rare to receive long text sms... I would like to post two such sms that I received in my college days that impressed me a lot...

1) "VoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the voxpopuli, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose,so let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V"
— V for Vendetta

2) Have you ever been in love? Horrible, isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up this whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They don't ask for it. They do something dumb one day like kiss you, or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase like 'maybe we should just be friends' or 'how very perceptive' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.

The first quote was sent to me by Raghu, and I really found it difficult to understand.. And even today its the same... May be some GRE aspirants can explain me :) I am yet to watch tat movie V for Vendetta....

The second quote on love is quite a sad one... People of my age(esp guys) who can call themselves experienced can actually feel this quote... This was sent to me by Sundar(The Renowned Lover) during my second year... But because I am experienced, I suggest not to hate love, instead try to hate that unworthy person whom u loved :) Love is immortal, in the sense that at any point of time there will be someone with whom u can show love or atleast u can find one soon :)... Have the hope tat Better options are alwayz available :) Don't ever hate LOVE :)

5S !!

This 5S helps to organize the workplace, and here in Philips, they insist on this... These words are Japanese... Remembering these five words can be difficult compared to following them :)
