Well, I was thinking for a long time as to what should I post next.... Suddenly I went back to my school days when I was studying standard nine... That was of course our adolescent age too :) And to add fuel to the fire, our Moral Science book had two interesting chapters - 'Sex and Marriage' and 'Boys and Girls'......
The first chapter discussed about the reasons for a marriage... Although I felt that it was too early to have a lesson on marriage, I can relate most of it now and also I feel I can relate much more based on other practical sources... There are many people for whom the ultimate aim is to lead a settled life... Even I was influenced by such feelings when I started my college life... But of late, the things have changed... I realize that I am younger than many of my colleagues who are themselves not married... It literally means, I have nearly five more years to concentrate on my career and try to enjoy the bachelor life as much as possible :)
The second chapter was indeed fun, and me studying in a boyz school, then realized the need for a co-education :) It discussed in detail about the frndship between a boy and a gal and how the same may turn into a love or some 'matter', and what will be the cause and result of all this - Don't say a baby ll be the result!! Those were really the days we attained maturity, and these lessons really shaped us, if not atleast it brought out some interesting topics for discussion in the class.... These lessons were taken by one our lady staffs, and I could realize tat it would've been very much embarrassing for her :) The point that I would like to add is that I missed many things as I studied in a boyz school, but at the same time, we had a lot of freedom in discussing things... Nevertheless, those void spaces were filled in college :)
Also, my essay on adolescence was greatly appreciated in one of the moral science tests... And now being an adult am proud tat I ve overcome those period with caution and now its really time to engage in some fresh professional activities and of course foresee and dream about future :)
